Colored Wedding Dresses.

Hi everyone!

Today I'm going to be talking about colored wedding dresses!  I'm not talking about a red or black dress here; I'm actually going to be talking about very subtle color.  These dresses are still traditional, but they are just outside of the box enough for brides looking for something a little different.   

You might not realize, but this Monique Lhuillier dress is actually a soft pastel blue. You'd make a statement in this dress, but not too much of a statement.

This blush colored dress by Vera Wang is absolutely stunning! The shape of it alone is to die for, and the color just gives it that extra special touch!

Surprise Birthday Party.

Hi everyone!

Today I'm going to talk about a party I helped plan last weekend.  A nice man contacted me and asked me to help him plan a surprise 30th birthday party for his wife.  The problem: they live in New York, and it was being thrown here in Ohio.  He had all of the ideas, and I executed it for him. I visited the venue, contacted the caterer, and took care of decor.

Oh, did I mention that the party was for my sister?! That made it more challenging!  Usually when I plan events, I don't know every single person in attendance. Trying to get everything done, while talking to my family and friends really kept things interesting!  However, it was a great party! My sister was totally surprised, my brother-in-law was happy with everything, and the guests had a great time! The food was delicious; I can't say enough good things about Toni from dishes by design, and since it was at Sarah's Vineyard winery, the wine was the star of the show!

Wednesday Wow #3

Hi everyone!

I'm back this week with another 'Wednesday Wow.'  I have been obsessing over Lazaro for years, I feel like I just love everything he does. This dress by Lazaro may be a bit much for some people, because there is a lot going on.  The reason I found this dress so amazing is because of the bottom.  I've never seen a skirt like this before. It has these amazing pleats, a beautifully beaded top, and a belt that compliments the dress perfectly.  

I hope you've been enjoying all of the new dresses in the spring and summer collections as much as I have.
